SAS also offers a suite of AP Audit tools developed by auditors for organizations to perform AP Auditing in-house. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claim Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement full A-Z claim recovery solutions. Including SQL scripting and loading of output to a solution that can be used by auditors to validate and create PDF claim images or excel claim packages.  Â
- Lead the analysis of large datasets to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement in post audit activities, with a specific focus on claims identification.Â
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand data requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and pinpointing specific claim categories for in-depth analysis.Â
- Processes must ensure accuracy and reliability of audit findings, particularly in relation to the nuanced nature of various claim categories.Â
- Develop and maintain advanced data models, utilizing statistical methods to interpret complex data sets, especially in the context of identifying and classifying claims within distinct categories.Â
- Create and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations, highlighting insights related to claim categories and providing actionable recommendations to enhance overall post audit effectiveness.Â
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics, with a keen focus on emerging methodologies for precise identification and analysis of diverse claim categories.Â
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.Â
- Proven experience (8-10+ years) in data analysis in the post audit industry.Â
- History of success, scripting for claim concepts in multiple claim categories and on multiple clients.Â
- Proficient in data manipulation tools and languages such as SQL, Python, or R.Â
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Â
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and reporting (MS Access)Â
- Excellent communication skills to convey complex findings to diverse audiences.Â
